All of our education based classrooms have age appropriate curriculum. We use the "Letter People" Program, which is an advanced program from Abrams Learning Trends as well as "Everyday Math" from McGraw Hill Education.
Our newborns classroom has a one-to-four teacher-to-baby ratio, and teachers work with babies based on his or her family's schedule. Babies have their own cribs. We provide a safe and nurturing environment for your newborn as he or she grows and develops. We hold an open line of communication with our parents through daily notes about your child's day. Our staff sings, reads and communicates to promote cognitive and social development in a warm and caring environment.
Fine and gross motor skill development is encouraged through song, dance, and finger play. We teach self-help skills which include learning to wash their hands and feeding themselves. We also complete and participate in age-appropriate activities and curriculum such as:
We also offer Potty Training to 2 to 2 1/2 year olds. Our trained staff in the Potty Training room have a high success rate and one-on-one training. We build confidence through social and motor skills in order to make each child secure in their own environment and successful with their own personalized potty training program.
We prepare the children for our preschool program by introducing them to a more formal learning environment. Our day-to-day activities consist of teaching the children numbers, letters, shapes and name recognition, as well as self-help skills, which encourage the children to become more independent. We provide a safe, clean, healthy environment while still engaging in fun, educational activities for your child to thrive in. We are very open and supportive of parent/teacher communication in the transition stages of potty training for the child to be successful. We enjoy watching the children grow to their full potential through learning and exploration.
Our three-year-old, academic-based, full-time program provides a happy, safe, and healthy environment for your children. We promote social interaction with peers, as well as introducing cognitive and fine motor skills in a loving and nurturing environment. Our classrooms engage in age appropriate activities with a healthy dose of daily fun like arts and crafts, out door play, singing, dancing and much more. We value and respect each child as an individual and enjoy watching them grow throughout the year. We use the Pre-Kindergarten level of the "Letter People" Program with our preschoolers, which is an advanced program.
Our four-year-old program is designed to enhance children's learning skills through a structured environment and developmental curriculum. By using guided discovery and cooperative play, the children's social and cognitive development continue to grow. We place a strong emphasis on pre-reading skills, as well as encouraging creativity in all areas. We use the Kindergarten level of the "Letter People" Program. We incorporate the "Everyday Math" program into our daily routine with emphasis on writing numbers, number recognition and correspondence, counting as well as simple addition and subtraction stories.
Our kindergarten program is designed to capture your child's interest in a variety of subjects. We use the first grade level of the "Letter People" Program with our kindergartners. We begin with letter recognition and letter-sound association to provide foundation your child needs to become a confident reader by the end of the year! We also have a weekly spelling test which builds confidence in their test taking abilities. Our program also includes "Everyday Math" which focuses on a variety of math concepts such as estimation, counting to 100, skip counting by 2's, 5's, and 10's, sorting and creating patterns, and of course, addition and subtraction. There is a different science theme each month designed to spark children's interest in the world around them. Some of our science units include dinosaurs, outer-space, plants, insects, healthy bodies, and ocean life. In social studies, we learn about each other and celebrate every child with their own "special day" which gives the children a chance to practice public speaking and learn about their unique family and different cultures
